CREATE A PROFILE

To access the many benefits of My Rotary, you would require a personal profile. Visit https://rotary.org/user/register to begin. You can learn how to create a profile here

TOUCH UP YOUR PROFILE

Now that your profile is set, touch up your profile in the following steps:
  1. LINK YOUR PROFILE: If you did not supply your Rotary ID number during your account registration, then you would need to link your profile to your Rotaract Club database to gain full access to all online tools for Rotaractors. You can ask your club president to do this for you, or you can send an email to DataCorrections@rotary.org.
  2. UPDATE YOUR PROFILE: You would need to add more details to your profile. You can do this by visiting your profile at https://my.rotary.org/user/profile/edit. Here, you can upload picture, and fill out the information in the following sections: Contact Information, Skills & Interest, About Me, and Professional profile. If you do not add Rotaract in the Programs section, you will not be able to access some features.

EXPLORE ONLINE TOOLS

With your profile looking sharp, it is time to discover some online products and services that are available to Rotaractors. Visit www.myrotary.org and login using your email address as the username. After login, click on Go to Profile. You can also visit https://my.rotary.org/user/profile/edit to go directly to your profile.

DISCUSSION GROUPS

This is where you connect with other members of the community. It allows you to get informed, or get contacts for your project, or even contribute your ideas and opinions.
Scroll to your Menu and click on Exchange Ideas, then select an option under Discussion Groups.
To access this directly, visit https://my.rotary.org/exchange-ideas/groups. Feel free to Search for a Group, or to Create a Group. The Rotaract Group is active here: https://my.rotary.org/exchange-ideas/groups/rotaract-world.

CONNECTIONS

This enables you to add friends on My Rotary. You can discuss your project with them or even connect with people of the same profession/interests with you. Add a connection in one of the following ways:
  1. From your Discussion Group: Simply go to any of your Discussion Groups, open a conversation and click on a member that has posted a comment.
  2. Search the website: You can search using a particular name, or using Skills & Interest. To visit directly, click here: https://my.rotary.org/search/people. To navigate, visit your profile and click on the search box:

    Then Click on People from the options, and make a search:
  3. From another connection: After connecting with someone, you can view their profile to see a list of some of their friends. Feel free to click on any of the displayed friends and connect with them.

SHOWCASE

This allows you to publish your projects and major activities in your club. You need to be reported to your club database to view or add club projects. Simply go to Menu and click on Take Action to access it, or visit https://rotary.org/showcase. While adding a project, ensure that you include at least one additional Project contact from your club:

BRANDING AND THE BRAND CENTER

Branding is very Key in Rotaract. Learn more about approved colours (click here), approved fonts (click here) and other branding protocols in the Rotary Brand Center. You can also create Logo templates for your club or download existing ones. In addition, you can customise your picture using the People of Action campaign. There are many other resources you can access at the Brand Center. To get started, visit https://rotary.org/brandcenter.

CLUB ADMINISTRATION

This is one of the few tools restricted to Club officers. At the moment, only Presidents and Presidents-elect can be reported as Rotaract Club officers. In Club Administration, you can:
  1. Add members who already have a profile on My Rotary.
  2. Add members who do not have a profile, and generate a Rotary ID to enable them to create a profile.
  3. Update the personal information and contact details of members.
  4. Terminate or reinstate members.
  5. View the list of members and other club data.
  6. View the list of terminated/former members.

DONATION AND DONOR HISTORY REPORTS

Donating makes you a complete member. It is one way you can give back to your society. From 1 USD to 1,000 USD or more, nothing is too small to give. You can begin by adopting a Personal Monthly Giving Plan (say 1 dollar a month, 2 dollars, 5 dollars or as much as you can afford), then gradually increase the threshold as months pass by. You can seamlessly do this with you device and bank card at https://rotary.org/contribute. ROTARY BLOG, THE ROTARY MAGAZINE

You can have pictures and articles of club projects and activities published in Rotary Voices (the official blog of Rotary International) or Rotary (the official magazine). You can visit https://my.rotary.org/how-make-news to get tips for the magazine publication; or visit https://blog.rotary.org/contact-us/ for tips about the blog. If you have upcoming events, write to magazine@rotary.org using "Calendar" as subject.  

SOCIAL MEDIA

WhatsApp may not be enough! Consider opening a Social media account on Facebook, or Instagram, or Twitter (or even the three). That way, you can share your Rotaract stories with people that are inside and outside your circle. Remember to look out for your club and District handles and as well as the following:

Develop yourself regularly or get acquainted with Rotary's structure at https://learn.rotary.org. You would need a computer to access this tool. You may also visit it from your mobile device using "Desktop View" in your browser.

ROTARY CITATION

Get recognised by Rotary, annually, for a Year well spent. See the criteria for the Rotary Citation here: https://my.rotary.org/en/news-media/office-president/rotary-citation .

ROTARY GLOBAL REWARDS AND ABENITY

You can get discounts on products and services around the world, thanks to Rotary. To access these discounts, you would need to be reported as a Rotaractor. These discounts are provided through Abenity and you would need to create an Abenity profile at  https://rotary.abenity.com/login.

You can apply for The Rotaract Outstanding Project Award (ROPA) and access other special Rotaract tools at https://www.rotary.org/en/get-involved/rotaract-clubs/details.
